Thailand  Itinerary 8 days tour detail:

Day 1 : Arrival Bangkok

On arrival at Bangkok international airport, and after clearing immigration and customs, meet with your guide with a signboard marked “Your Group Name” and transfer to the yours for check in.

Bangkok, Thailand’s major gateway, casts an irresistible spell of enchantment. To the Thais it is Krung Thep, “City of Angels”, and you’ll find it truly a magic place, one that captivates the imagination. More than anywhere else in the country, Bangkok expresses Thailand’s uncanny ability to blend the old with the new.

This lends a thrilling sense of discovery to one’s sightseeing and adds an element of surprise when exploring what is the Orient’s most fabled city. In the midst of dynamic modern growth, this bustling metropolis still preserves plenty of cultural heritages which make the town become the national treasure house of Thailand.

Day 2 : Bangkok Sightseeing / Join tour to Siam Niramirt

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, meet with your guide and head out along the city and start a fascinating day of exploration to Bangkok to understand more about why Bangkok can soothe or ruffle, and it often does both. While contemplating the sunrise at a temple or monks collecting alms, you’ll marvel at what peace can be found in the midst of such a chaotic metropolis.

Drive to visit the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaeo); both are located in the same compound surrounded by crenellated walls.  The Emerald Buddha is the most sacred object of Thailand, held by all Thais as also the symbol of national independence. The Grand Palace – consists of three imposing buildings; the Amarin Vinitch Throne Hall originally a Hall of Justice but used today for coronation ceremonies; Dusit Maha Prasat Palace initially served as a venue for royal audiences and later as Royal Funerary Hall.

Then continue your visit to Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha) located next to the Grand Palace, is Bangkok’s oldest temple with the kingdom’s largest Reclining Buddha image. Take ferry across the Wat Arun, where located of the Prang Wat Arun or the ancient tower with 76 meter high and consider the most importance landmark of Thailand. Have a leisurely stop for lunch at site.

After lunch, we will spend time to see the Thai fine art which collection.  Continue to see the Queen collection of Thailand best fine art. The art craft is made of silverware, fine gold leave decorate on wooden craft, the curtain decorated with wing of bug in emerald color and many more. Then, continue to Jim Thompson House Museum.

Mr. Thompson collected many Thai and Asian art objects as wooden furniture, Cambodian design sculpture, Chinese porcelain, tool for making silk and ancient design silk fabric. With proper decoration of art inside his house and his garden, make this place interesting to visit. Besides enjoying the time and learn history, you may get an idea for combine Asian art into your house.

In the evening, enjoy your dinner with Siam Niramit; a world-class performance of Thailand arts and cultural heritage. The cultural show is spectacular with special effects. The grand stage is recorded in Guinness World Records. Enjoy walking through Thai villages in different four regions of Thailand and seeing arts and crafts without stepping out of Bangkok.

Day 3: Ayutthaya – Thailand Historical / join trip by Grand Pearl

After breakfast, pick up at Hotel to travel to Ayutthaya, the Siam Ancient City; where you can explore the ruins, temples and the Royal Palace. Ayutthaya offers a fascinating glimpse on ancient Siam’s splendor. Both ruins and reconstructed sites abound in the area. Take a stop for a visit at Bang Pa-In, the former Summer Palace; a residence of King Rama V.

Arrival in Ayutthaya, begin your tour with Wat Chai Wattanaram built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong, a replica of Angkor Wat with a huge prang surrounded by smaller ones, symbolizing Mount Meru, the residence of the heavenly gods. Then continue visiting Wat Phra Srisanphet with three outstanding Ceylonese style pagodas, which were built during the 15th century to enshrine the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings and a large bronze cast Buddha image originally enshrined in the open area outside the Grand Palace and later covered by a building in the reign of king Songtham.

More sightseeing to Wat Yaichai Mongkol, the large pagoda, built to celebrate the King’s victory of his single-handed combat on the elephant’s back during Ayutthaya capital were located.

Then travel to Ayutthaya museum, the coordination between Thai-Japanese to gather knowledge of the old day of Ayutthaya consist of the way of living of local people, model of the former palace, and knowledge of Ayutthaya fine art, trading route, believe, play and religion. Continue to Wat Paphanancheang, the famous temple in Ayutthaya period which is renovated from the ruin and has show the Thai-Chinese architecture influent.  Then, visit Wat Mahathat, this temple has the Lord Buddha head place on the Banyan tree.

Day 4: Bangkok – Sukhothai – Srisatchanalai – Phrae  (B/L/D) flight THS

Transfer with our tour guide to Bangkok airport to continue morning flight with Bangkok airway to Sukhothai.Upon arrival our north of Thailand Tour guide will meet you at the airport. Sukhothai, the original capital of the first Thai kingdom was surrounded by three concentric ramparts and two moats bridged by four gateways. Today the remains of 21 historical sites and four large ponds can be seen with an old wall, with an additional 70 sites within a 5km radius.

The Sukhothai ruins are one of Thailand’s World Heritage sites.Stop at Sukhothai museum to learn about this kingdom in the old day.  Ride to the historical park to visit Wat Mahathat. This temple situated in the heart of the town .this significant temple is believed to be the place where Lord Buddha’s RELICS HAS BEEN ENSHRINED. Its main chedi in lotus bud shape characterizes the typical style of Sukhothai art.

And visit Wat Sri Sawai, an important ancient monuments in this temple in clued three Khmer-style corn shaped stupas situated to the south of Wat Mahathat. Continue to Wat Prapai Luang located adjacent to the outer rampart wall of Sukhothai, this ancient temple bears evidence of the evolution of and architecture during the Sukhothai period .Important ancient monuments in this temple include 3 prasat style buildings. Two of them are still in existence. After lunch, continue to Srisatchanalai, about 50 km north of Sukhothai, are in the same basic style as those in the Sukhothai Historical Park.

This historical park has also been classified as a World Heritage site and the new Sukhothai capital where King Ramkhamkhean the Great constructed.Continue to small home stay at Phrae province where we stay. This home stay is basic lodge which has a lot to offer for tourist who want be in non-touristy area. The house is located on small hill with eco friendly concept by using solar cell. One of the owner is a tour guide and anther is tour-leader from Holland which is very friendly and has so much to share about their beloved hometown and Thailand story.

Day 5: Phrae – Lampang – Chiang Mai (B/L/-)

After breakfast, continue your trip to visit (Biking or riding on your frefer) local factory around home stay area. They has made souvenir from waste, sawdust.

Travel to Phea Muang Phee, the national wonder. There are different erosion rock formations in different parts ( National parks) of Thailand. Whilst not unique on Earth, this is a very rare park full of small to medium size geological formations of various shapes and sizes, some rising 20 metres or more above the surrounding land. The formations are estimated to be between 10,000 to 30,000 years old and are caused by the effects of subsidence and erosion on different types of rock. Although the rock pillars are old enough, some of the soil in the park is estimated to be 2 million years old. 

Continue to small village create a MOR HOM, print cotton fabric from natural color.Travel to Lampang for lunch and visit Pratat Lampang Luang and Prathat hiripoon Chai, one of the best Northern Thai Architecture. And continue to Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai (New City) was founded in 1296 by King Mengrai as the capital of the first independent Thai state, Lanna Thai (Kingdom of One Million Rice Fields). It became the cultural and religious center of the northern Tai, those who had migrated from southern China to dwell in Thailand, and remained so throughout the turbulent period of recurring Burmese attacks.

The Burmese finally captured Chiang Mai in 1556 and occupied it until King Taksin retook the city in 1775, driving the Burmese forces back to near the present border. Burmese influence on religion, architecture, language, cuisine, and culture, however, remains strong. The city stands on the Ping River, a major tributary of the Chao Phraya River.

Day 6: Chiang Mai Sightseeing  (B/L/-)

Relaxing in the morning and around 10.00 a.m. meet our tour guide and hotel lobby. Drive up Doi (Mount) Suthep to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep 3500 feet above sea-level, the most sacred temple in Northern Thailand, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha, with a challenging flight of over 300 steps, flanked by enormous mythological Nagas. A panoramic view of the city can be seen from here.Having local lunch in Chiang Mai favorite Kaw Soi style. You can choice any dishes that you like and lunch as local people have.

Afternoon, drive to visit some of Chiang Mai’s famous temples: Wat Suan Dok has the north’s largest chapel royal.  The temple was built by King Keu Na of Lanna for a revered priest visiting from Sukhothai as a place for the monk to spend the rains retreat. The principal Buddha statue is a huge cast image named Phra Chao Kao Tu.  Here you can also attain monk chat session to learn about Buddhism teaching, if you are interesting.Visit Lanna Art Halls to enjoy your time with presentation of Lanna artistry wisdom of Buddhist belief and warship relative to the universe, the motivational inspiration of Buddhist architecture. 

You can see the items in religious rituals such as Buddhist sculptures or crafted by hand manifesting the inspiration in Buddhism. They also reveal a chronology of Lanna (Chiang Mai) history and tradition.>Free evening for your own time.

Day 7: Elephant Camp (B/L/-)

Highly recommended because this is a gentle way to see Chiang Mai Buddhist people’s life: wake up early in the morning and take a ride to Kruba Sri Vichat Statue, the holy monk of Northern Thailand to take part in a daily Buddhist ceremony “Tak Bat” or “Merit Making” by giving offerings to monks on their arms-rounds with local people. Purify your mind and learn how to give and learn a part of Buddhism.

After Tak Bat, continue to Wat Suan Dok to offer some requisites to monk and receive blessings from him on this special time. Travel back to the hotel and have breakfast.After an early breakfast, head out on an excursion for the Young Elephants Training Camp (56 Kms. away). Watch the elephants taking their morning bath in the running stream before starting their day’s training and work. See the demonstration of elephants at work. Start half hour elephant riding.  Then continue to visit bamboo rafting.

Day 8: Cooking Class (Join Cooking class)– Departure Chiang Mai (B/L/-)

Today, you will escape from the bustling of the city to the relaxing countryside and enjoy a cooking class with a local family in a farm surrounding the mountains.At 8:30AM, be picked up at your hotel and go to the local Market with your chef. She will explain about rice, how to make fresh coconut milk and how to choose seasonings. Then spend some time walking around to take pictures and watch vendors selling their products.

Upon arrival at the farm, take a walk around the farm with the explanation of the chef about the herbs growing and ingredients. Then learn to cook the first three courses you choose and have lunch with what you have prepared on the terrace overlooking the fishpond where you will have a splendid view of the entire farm as well as the lush nearby mountains.After lunch, free at leisure to take a walk and admire the beautiful landscape, rice fields around the farm.

This will be a wonderful memory and experience to discover a different Thailand. Afterwards, continue learning how to cook some other courses and the chef will give banana leaf cups to pack your “afternoon” take-away-meal. Then transfer back to your hotel around. 14.00 Arrive your hotel.Then Ffree Time on your own.Evening transfer to Chiang Mai airport to connect your flight to new destination.
