              Thailand elephant are aised to work and as a sideline to serve tourists for rides in the rain forest to take them around National Parks. Ethnic villagers keep these elephants to conduct their different types of rites. Elephant riding has become an integral part of tour business in Thailand. Well-trained elephants can be ridden through local villages and surrounding forests. You can book an elephant for half hour walk around the tourist destination, or you can book a three or five day trek through the jungle. You can see how the trainers bath their elephants, and watch elephant skill shows such as kicking a soccer ball, dancing, playing music instruments and even painting.

which is slightly closer than Khao Yai is approximately 130 kilometers west of Bangkok. The bridge over the river kwai built by World War II prisoners is situated here.
