Ethnic villagers keep these elephants to conduct their different types of rites. Elephant riding has become an integral part of tour business in Thailand. Well-trained elephants can be ridden through local villages and surrounding forests. You can book an elephant for half hour walk around the tourist destination, or you can book a three or five day trek through the jungle. You can see how the trainers bath their elephants, and watch elephant skill shows such as kicking a soccer ball, dancing, playing music instruments and even painting.

which is slightly closer than Khao Yai is approximately 130 kilometers west of Bangkok.
