Mini Siam Pattaya started in 1985. This is an attraction to make a smaller size of architecture and art which is well known in world famous recognition as well as Asia region. The size of mini Siam is 1:25 of the actual size. Mr. Kasem Kasemdisakol has passion in art and architecture and was inspired from his visit of Madurodum in Netherland and Window on China in Taiwan.

SIAM ZONE

Walk through Mini Siam zone to see miniature of famous places such as the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Wat Arun, Phanom Rung Historical Park , Phra thinam Aisawan Thiphy Art, the Marble thorn hall, Wat Mahathat in Sukhothai, Ayutthaya historical park, Wat Phra Srisunphet , Victory monument in Bangkok and Rama IX cable-stayed bridge.

Western and Asian Zone

Take a picture with Eiffel Tower (France), the Arc De Triomphe , Cathedral Group of Pisa (Itary), Abusimbel (Egypt) , Tower Bridge (England) , The Opera House (Australia) , The statue of liberty (United state of America) , Angor Wat in Cambodia, and T’ien-T’an altar of Heaven, Beijing China.

Each year , Mini Siam Pattaya has adding and renovating the statues and contructions.

Extremely fascinating place!

Mini Siam Pattaya is huge, and the attention to detail given to each and every structure is amazing. Apart from this, you get to learn a lot of information regarding these structures. The entrance fee is 500 THB and is worth every penny. You even have a miniature airport and railway station of Bangkok (something extra for the kids haha!)

Post your extensive walk, you can then enjoy some drinks at the refreshment area (you will have to pay and buy, it doesn’t come with the ticket). The attraction doesn’t get too crowded and you can have a pleasant look at all structures.

PS: Go in the evenings, especially when the lights come on – I believe the structures look even more beautiful! Plus, you get to beat the heat.

When you come here, try to purchase the tickets on your own. Don’t let the taxi driver to get it for you or else you will be scammed like us. The taxi driver that took us to the park charged us double the usual ticket price. He actually offered to get the tickets for us, so we accepted his offer thinking that he was just being nice to us but we ended up getting ripped off.

Oh well, good thing the park was beautiful. Coming there at night was a very good decision. The place was beautifully lit. The structures felt more alive because of all the lights. I couldn’t imagine it being more dramatic and alive if we came there on a hot sunny day. The replicas of the different landmarks of the world were close to perfection. So if you want to travel the world, but don’t want to spend a hefty amount of money, Mini Siam Pattaya is the perfect option for you.

Maybe it seems nonsense, but those mini structures are very attractive, especially when you find your country’s historical sites included. Although it was recommended to visit there at evening, but our visit was on the morning and we can’t see shiny Mini Siam.

Please take some changes to buy food for fishes in the ponds, they are really hungry and even chase us after our package has finished and don’t forget pigeons too.

Taking an umbrella through day visits is highly recommended unless you have big hat and at last, don’t forget cold water.

Not much improvement comparing to other surrounding business. Should not waste time, only if really you have nothing else to do, in Pattaya, which is not possible. The entrance fee was cheap though. However, still better go for Ripley.

Disrepair bad

I visited here about 20 years ago what it must have been new. Everything needs through year built it’s all falling apart. Maybe they’re waiting for a developer to come and put condos in. The landscaping and Gardens look good the structures are rotten.

Old and worn out

The pictures looked good, but they must be really old because this place is so old and worn down. They charge a hefty fee to get in so don’t waste your money. Go here and wait for darkness and go eat some fine food next door at the market plus at the market next door you can get some really great t-shirts at non tourist prices.
