Shattering the Doubts
Q: Is Maya Bay currently open for swimming?
A: To protect the coral reef and the local shark population, walking on the beach and taking photos is allowed, but swimming in the bay itself is prohibited. However, we provide plenty of swimming time at the nearby Pileh Lagoon!
Q: Will I see sharks or sea turtles?
A: While nature is unpredictable, our snorkeling spots are chosen because they are frequent habitats for Blacktip reef sharks and sea turtles. Keep your eyes peeled!
Q: What is the best time of year to visit?
A: The "High Season" from November to April offers the calmest seas and clearest water. However, the Phi Phi Islands are beautiful year-round, and "Green Season" visits often mean fewer crowds.
Q: What should I bring?
A: Swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen (SPF 50+), a waterproof bag for your phone/camera, and your best adventure-ready attitude!
