FAQs
❓ Frequently Asked Questions: 7D6N Heritage Tour
Q: Is this a group tour or a private experience?
A: This is a 100% Private Tour. You will have a dedicated VIP van, a professional driver, and a licensed English-speaking guide exclusively for your group. This allows for total flexibility in terms of pacing and interests.
Q: There is a lot of traveling involved. Is it tiring?
A: We have designed the itinerary to be a "Slow Travel" experience. While we cover over 700km from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, we break the journey with interesting stops, local markets, and beautiful lunch spots. You’ll be traveling in a VIP High-Roof Van with reclining seats and cold water provided to ensure maximum comfort.
Q: What is the standard of accommodation?
A: We hand-pick Boutique and Heritage Hotels (4-5 Star equivalent) that reflect the character of each city. For example, in Sukhothai, we choose resorts near the Historical Park, and in Chiang Mai, we select charming Lanna-style boutique hotels. Specific hotel names will be provided in your detailed proposal.
Q: Is the cycling in Sukhothai mandatory?
A: Not at all! While cycling is a classic way to see the ruins, we can easily arrange an Electric Tram or a Private Golf Cart for you if you prefer not to cycle or if the weather is too hot.
Q: What should I pack for a 7-day trip across Thailand?
A: * Clothing: Light, breathable cotton is best.
-
Dress Code: For temples (especially the Grand Palace and Ayutthaya), you must cover your shoulders and knees. We recommend a light scarf or "elephant pants" which are easy to carry.
-
Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes or sturdy sandals are essential as there is significant walking on uneven historical ground.
Q: Are internal flights included?
A: This tour is designed as a scenic overland journey to see the "Hidden Thailand" between the major cities. However, the flight from Chiang Mai back to Bangkok at the end of the trip is not included by default, but we can happily assist you in booking it as an add-on.
Q: Can we customize the food options?
A: Yes! Whether you are Halal, Vegan, or have Gluten allergies, our guides are experts at navigating Thai menus. We take you to authentic local restaurants where the food is prepared fresh. Just let us know your requirements in advance.
Q: How do we handle the luggage?
A: Your luggage stays safe in our private van with the driver while you explore the sites. You don't have to worry about carrying heavy bags; we provide "door-to-door" service from one hotel lobby to the next.
