Day 1: Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Nakhonratchasima (-/L/-)
Pick up from your Bangkok hotel at 8.30 am. Then, drive to Ayutthaya province. Stop at Bang Pa-in Summer Palace to see the summer palace and beautiful garden, which used to be leisure palace for the king of Ayutthaya. Continue on to visit Wat Prasrisanphet – is three outstanding Ceylonese style pagodas were built during the 15th century to enshrine the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings which houses a large bronze cast Buddha image was originally enshrined in the open area outside the Grand Palace and later covered by a building in the reign of king Songtham.
Wat Mahathat – was built in 1384 by King Rachatirat to house a relic of the Buddha. In 1956 a secret chamber was uncovered in the ruins; among the treasures found inside were gold jewelry, a gold casket containing a relic of the Buddha, and fine tableware.
Wat Chaiwatthanaram – is the temple represents the victory of King Prasart Thong over Cambodia King. The beautiful temple was built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong on a bank of the Chao Praya River without standing towers which are called as Prang in Thai.
Wat Lokayasutha – has a mysterious past, whereby its origins are unknown. The temple enshrines a Largest Reclining Buddha image which was built during the early period of the Ayutthaya region. Those ruins used to be palace and royal temples when Ayutthaya was prosperous. Enjoy your lunch time at local restaurant.
Then drive further to Nakhonratchasima (Korat), the biggest city in the Isaan region. Check in at the hotel. In the evening, observeKorat night market, see night life and enjoy shopping before returning to the hotel. Overnight at Korat.

Day 2: Nakhonratchasima – Burirum – Khao Yai (B/L/-)
After breakfast, drive to Phimai city. Visit Phimai museum and learn about the Khmer history. Then continue on to Prasart Hin Pimai, the biggest Khmer sanctuary in Thailand and has rectangular shape with the area of 1020x580m. In the past, Phimai was an important city in the Khmer empire during 11th Century. Inside the historical park contain of many towers, Prang, and gallery. The architecture decorated with sand stone carved with Hindo story – Ramayana. Moreover, this place also has wonderful landscape.
Then bring you to Burirum – it takes about two hours to get to Burirum province where you must visit Prasart Hin Pranomrung, one of the most diverse national parks and certainly one of the most important and most visited Khmer sites in Thailand. Based on Phanom Rung Hill, an extinct volcano that forms a gentle arc across the horizon, the park houses the largest number of Khmer monuments in Thailand. The whole site has been brought back to its full glory after nearly two decades of restoration and the result is extremely impressive.
Day 3: Khao Yai – Bangkok (B/L/-)
Leave hotel at 6.00 am then ranger and tour guide will take you to the jungle for a trek to see wild life of tropical forest. After that, take a break for breakfast. Then explore Khao Yai, the first and the biggest national park of Thailand. It is the most popular national park in the country, attracting one million visitors a year with its scenic beauty and abundant plant and wildlife.
It is also home to a large array of birds and animals. Commonly spotted animals include gibbons, langurs, deer, and monkeys. Enjoy the scenery and visit the fantastic waterfalls in the Khao Yai area.After enjoying Khao Yai, drive back to Bangkok.
