Thailand or officially named, The Kingdom of Thailand, is a country in Southeast Asia, bordering Laos and Cambodia to the east, the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia to the south, and the Andaman Sea and Burma to the west. Thailand is the only Southeast Asian nation which has never been colonized by European powers. It is a constitutional monarchy whose current head of state is HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, KING RAMA IX.
